We are still working on getting approval from the State for a driveway onto Route 4A. Enfield's application for the driveway was denied by the District Highway Office. The next step is for Enfield to appeal this decision to the State. We are quite confident that Enfield will find a solution to this problem, as the Enfield Selectmen continue to be committed to our project. Unfortunately this means that we will not be breaking ground this fall. The upside is that we now have the winter months to wrap up fundraising, finalize our site design, and plan for construction, so that when spring arrives we can get started straight away.

MVDPS has had a change over in the make up of our Board of Directors. Cynthia Sanschagrin has resigned as Vice President due to other commitments. We thank Cynthia for all her support and work to this point, and are pleased to announce that existing Board member Jo Ann Clark has taken her place as Vice President. Kimberly Thompson, Chair of the Events Committee, will be joining the Board as Member-at-Large. Also, Terri Lynch has agreed to Chair our Membership Committee.
