Dog Park Educational Seminar & Training

Post date: Jun 12, 2017 11:41:07 AM

We are pleased to announce that we are recruiting new Dog Park Ambassadors, and have scheduled some upcoming training and educational events! We'll be holding two Ambassador training sessions as well as a seminar on canine body language which is open to all.

Do you and your dog love the park? Become a Park Ambassador! As an ambassador, you’ll attend training to learn more about canine behavior and body language, enhance your relationship with your dog, and help the park! Park Ambassadors help us to promote the park, encourage membership, welcome new people and show them the ropes, and ensure park rules are upheld.

Ambassador training sessions will be held from 6-7pm on June 21st and June 26th at the Shaker Field Dog Park. These sessions are not open to the public and are exclusively for those interested in becoming ambassadors. Led by Michelle Grimes, CPDT-KA, CAP-1, CGCE, these sessions will allow us to observe dog-dog behavior of our own dogs in real time.

To become a Dog Park Ambassador you will need to attend at least one of the training sessions, in addition to the Canine Body Language & Social Graces seminar being held on Sunday, June 25, 2-4pm (details below). To register to attend, reply to this email.
